Each year, ARTS San Antonio presents an exciting array of inspired productions from the world of international performing arts. These events bring new vision and accessible entertainment to audiences throughout South Texas. In addition to public performances, ARTS San Antonio works diligently to expand the appreciation and understanding of the arts through both community outreach and educational programs.
WHY A STUDENT'S EDUCATION IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT THE ARTS...
Research has shown that a student's exposure to the arts in their education process is crucial to a complete education. The arts help develop critical thinking and self-discipline skills, improve a child's early development, basic math and reading abilities, self-esteem, and the ability to work in teams and school attendance. Each year, through our ARtsTEach program we reach more than 15,000 students.

HOW IS ARTS SAN ANTONIO ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH ITS MISSION?
Ticket revenue accounts for approximately 50% of the expenses incurred through our efforts. Additional funds are generated each year from dedicated individuals, business corporations, and foundations in our community.

While ticket sales help us cover the costs associated with everything you see on stage, we rely upon contributions to sustain our important work off stage. Your support for ARTS SA is important as arts education continues to decrease, it is now more important than ever for organizations like ARTS SA to do their part to ensure that children learn about the many ways the performing arts can enhance their lives. Master classes, lectures, teacher workshops and demonstrations help introduce our youth to the awe, wonder and innovation of the performing arts.
